Responsibilities
- Pre-Trip Inspection: Conduct comprehensive pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Safe Operation: Operate commercial trucks in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Cargo Handling: Load and unload freight securely, ensuring cargo is properly secured for transit.
- Route Planning: Utilize GPS and mapping systems to plan the most efficient routes for timely delivery.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate logs, delivery receipts, and other necessary paperwork.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A License: Must hold a current and valid Class A Commercial Driver's License.
- Clean Driving Record: Must possess a clean MVR with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Medical Certification: Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT compliant).
- Availability: Must be available to work weekend shifts and holidays as required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience preferred.
