Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and trailers on various routes throughout Tennessee and the Southeast.
- Perform comprehensive pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo using proper equipment, ensuring weight distribution and securing loads.
- Adhere strictly to all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety policies.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and documentation for all trips.
- Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, and team members.
- Represent the company professionally at customer delivery sites.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Physical) valid for at least 6 months.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Strong understanding of basic mechanical maintenance and vehicle operation.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
