Responsibilities
- Operate commercial Class A trucks safely and efficiently on regional and over-the-road routes.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety standards.
- Load and unload freight accurately, ensuring cargo security and integrity.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and adhere to all DOT and company regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service when interacting with receivers and shippers.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies to ensure zero accidents.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding route changes and delivery status.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL Class A) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations, cargo handling, and vehicle maintenance.
- Must possess a valid Commercial Driver's Medical Examiner's Certificate.
