Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks to transport goods safely and efficiently across assigned routes.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing and handling of all freight.
- Complete daily vehicle inspections (DVIR) and maintain accurate logs (ELD/DSO).
- Adhere to all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch teams and customers regarding delivery status and schedule changes.
- Maintain a clean driving record and professional appearance at all times.
- Ensure the truck cabin and cargo area are kept organized and clean.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required.
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (MVR) and DOT physical card.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience (Preferred).
- Pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Strong knowledge of interstate and intrastate traffic laws.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and sit for extended periods.
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the terminal.
