Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks in a safe, legal, and efficient manner.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections (DVIR).
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing and weight distribution.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and all required paperwork.
- Adhere to all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company safety policies.
- Navigate delivery routes in Virginia Beach and surrounding areas efficiently.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A.
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable driving experience.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major violations.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and drug screen.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safety procedures.
