Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A) safely and efficiently to deliver freight to designated locations.
- Perform comprehensive pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo using proper equipment, ensuring weight distribution and security.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and electronic communication with dispatch regarding status and delays.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety protocols at all times.
- Represent Apex Transportation Solutions professionally at customer delivery points.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no serious traffic violations in the past 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to customer service.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
