Responsibilities
- Operate commercial Class A trucks safely and efficiently to deliver cargo on time and in full.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment and techniques to prevent damage.
- Maintain accurate records of trip logs, mileage, and delivery status.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety policies, and company procedures.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding route changes and delivery updates.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Clean driving record with no major violations within the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Basic mechanical skills and the ability to troubleshoot minor vehicle issues.
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening.
- Strong sense of responsibility and customer service orientation.
