Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial motor vehicles (CMVs) in accordance with FMCSA regulations and company policies.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance and report any mechanical issues.
- Deliver freight on time and in excellent condition to customer locations throughout Phoenix and surrounding areas.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and all required paperwork, including bills of lading.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding load details, delivery schedules, and any potential delays.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and maintain a professional appearance at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A with a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Must be 21 years of age or older to operate commercial vehicles across state lines.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws, road safety, and GPS navigation systems.
- Excellent time management skills and a commitment to safety.
