Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and tractor-trailers in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure DOT compliance and vehicle safety.
- Secure cargo using proper tie-down techniques to prevent damage during transit.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery documentation.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and company policies regarding Hours of Service (HOS).
- Communicate clearly with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and route adjustments.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) issued by the state of Oklahoma.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) and valid DOT drug screen.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and motor vehicle record (MVR) review.
- Strong understanding of DOT regulations, cargo securement, and safety standards.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions.
