Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial trucks to transport cargo across the state and region.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure DOT compliance.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, traffic signals, and company safety protocols at all times.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery logs.
- Load and unload freight safely, ensuring cargo is secured properly to prevent damage.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and warehouse personnel.
- Represent the company professionally at customer delivery sites.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- No Experience Required: Candidates with a clean driving record and willingness to learn are encouraged to apply; we provide paid training.
- Must be at least 21 years of age to operate commercial vehicles across state lines.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to meet tight delivery schedules.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical duties related to cargo handling.
- Must possess a valid Commercial Learner's Permit (CLP) at the time of application (if applicable for training).
