Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and trailers in accordance with company policies and DOT regulations.
- Ensure timely delivery of freight to customers across the United States.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to identify potential mechanical issues.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment, ensuring securement and weight distribution.
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation for regulatory compliance.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to resolve any delivery issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical exam.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations.
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
