Responsibilities
- Operate commercial Class A trucks safely and efficiently on local delivery routes within the Seattle metropolitan area.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts and pallet jacks; ensure cargo is secured properly.
- Manage all delivery paperwork, including bills of lading and delivery logs accurately.
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance while representing the company brand to customers.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid Commercial Driver's License (Class A) or be willing to obtain one through our paid training program.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination and drug screen.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to interact professionally with clients.
- Basic mechanical aptitude is preferred but not required.
- Willingness to work varying shifts and travel to different locations within the region.
