Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks in a safe and efficient manner on local and regional routes.
- Deliver freight to designated locations within the agreed-upon schedule.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
- Maintain accurate logs and paperwork, ensuring full compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo securely, following proper safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A (or eligibility for our training program).
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical exam.
- Good communication skills and a professional demeanor at all times.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and work in various weather conditions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to safety.
