Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial trucks on local and regional delivery routes.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment while ensuring cargo security.
- Complete accurate electronic logging device (ELD) entries and driver's daily logs.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to meet DOT compliance standards.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Interact professionally with customers and team members at every stop.
- Maintain a clean and organized cab and cargo area.
Qualifications
- Clean driving record and valid CDL Class A license.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical exam and drug screen.
- Willingness to undergo a background check.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work independently.
- Flexibility to handle varying schedules and occasional overtime.
- No previous driving experience required. We provide on-the-job training for qualified candidates.
