Your Responsibilities Will Include:
As a key member of our logistics team, you will ensure that freight is delivered safely and on time.
Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles in a safe, professional, and legal manner at all times.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure vehicle safety.
- Load and unload freight efficiently at various customer locations along your route.
- Complete all necessary documentation and electronic logging device (ELD) logs accurately.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company safety policies, and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
- Maintain a clean, organized cab and cargo area.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and any issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) on file.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience (preferred).
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) drug screen and criminal background check.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
- Willingness to work night shifts as required by business needs.
