Responsibilities
- Operate Class A commercial vehicles for local and regional delivery routes.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo safely and efficiently using freight handling equipment.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (EOBR) records and ensure FMCSA compliance.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any delays.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and traffic laws at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A with a clean driving record.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Experience with flatbed, tanker, or dry van preferred but willing to train the right candidate.
- Ability to work night shifts (10 PM - 6 AM) consistently.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and criminal background check.
