Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles on designated routes throughout the Cleveland area and surrounding regions.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with FMCSA regulations.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently, ensuring proper securing and handling of materials.
- Maintain accurate logbooks and delivery documentation in compliance with state and federal laws.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to resolve any delivery issues or route changes.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and traffic laws to minimize risk and accidents.
- Keep the vehicle interior and exterior clean and presentable at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL Class A) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Ability to work night shift schedules and weekends as required.
- Must pass a drug screen and background check.
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD).
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally during loading/unloading.
