Responsibilities
- Operate Class A commercial vehicles in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment while ensuring cargo security.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic logging device (ELD) records.
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and company safety policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (Class A) required.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the past 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Basic reading, writing, and math skills for documentation purposes.
- Willingness and ability to work night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Strong commitment to safety, reliability, and time management.
