Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A vehicles to transport freight across the Southeast region.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure DOT compliance and safety.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and all necessary delivery documentation.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently while securing loads to prevent damage.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT Physical) valid for at least 6 months.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently during night shifts.
- Willingness to travel and work flexible schedules when necessary.
