Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (Class A) and trailers to deliver freight on time.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo accurately, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing loads.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and stay within hours of service regulations.
- Adhere to all DOT, FMCSA, and company safety policies and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and any issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC).
- Clean driving record with no more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and pass a DOT physical examination.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-service oriented attitude.
