Role Overview
As a CDL Driver for Milwaukee Prime Logistics, you will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of freight across the Midwest and beyond. Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and trailers in a safe, legal, and professional manner.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety compliance.
- Load and unload freight securely, ensuring cargo integrity during transit.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging devices (ELD) and daily driver logs.
- Adhere to all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any delays.
- Keep the cab and trailer clean and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical examination and drug screen.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-service oriented mindset.
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor vehicle troubleshooting.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs during loading/unloading.
