Responsibilities
- Operate commercial Class A vehicles in a safe and legally compliant manner.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical integrity.
- Load and unload freight safely, adhering to weight distribution and safety guidelines.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and all required DOT documentation.
- Deliver freight to designated locations within the agreed-upon timeframes.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to resolve any delivery issues.
- Uphold company safety standards and maintain a professional appearance.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) valid for at least 6 months.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations (DUI, Reckless Driving) within the last 5 years.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience (OTR or Local).
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
