Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A trucks and trailers in a professional manner.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance.
- Load and unload freight efficiently, ensuring cargo security.
- Adhere strictly to all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety policies.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and warehouse personnel.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical exam.
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of Louisville, KY roadways and area logistics hubs.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
