Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks in a safe, legal, and professional manner, strictly adhering to all FMCSA and DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring all items are secured properly to prevent damage during transit.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and document findings accurately.
- Maintain accurate logs, delivery receipts, and delivery status reports in compliance with federal standards.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to resolve any issues and ensure on-time delivery.
- Adhere to company policies regarding safety, speed limits, and traffic laws.
- Perform minor vehicle maintenance checks, such as tire pressure and fluid levels.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable Class A driving experience.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Medical Card).
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no DUIs or major violations in the last 5 years.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong customer service skills and ability to work independently.
