Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks to transport goods safely and efficiently across the Indianapolis area and beyond.
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts, pallet jacks, and proper tie-down techniques.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging device (ELD) records.
- Ensure compliance with all DOT regulations, company policies, and safety standards.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) valid for at least 90 days.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations within the last 3 years.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen.
- Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
