Responsibilities
- Operate commercial Class A vehicles safely and efficiently on regional routes.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections per DOT regulations.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records.
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts or hand trucks to ensure cargo security.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies.
- Communicate clearly with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules.
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance checks and report mechanical issues immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT physical) valid for at least 2 years.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong commitment to safety and customer service.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions.
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays.
