Responsibilities
- Operate commercial Class A vehicles safely and efficiently in compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload freight, ensuring cargo security and proper documentation.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety.
- Maintain accurate logs and records, including Electronic Logging Device (ELD) compliance.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety protocols at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical examination and drug screen.
- Willingness to submit to a background check.
- Familiarity with ELD (Electronic Logging Devices) is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and a professional attitude.
