Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) safely and efficiently to deliver freight on schedule.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate driver logs (ELD) and comply with all FMCSA regulations.
- Load and unload cargo securely, adhering to weight limits and safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and any issues.
- Uphold a professional image at all times while representing Apex Transport Solutions.
- Keep the truck cabin and cargo area clean and organized.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B required.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Current DOT medical card and clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
- Ability to pass a DOT drug screen and background check.
- Strong understanding of traffic laws, safety regulations, and cargo handling procedures.
- Physically capable of performing duties including lifting, climbing, and operating vehicle controls.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
