Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A) in various weather and road conditions.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo securely, adhering to safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and paperwork.
- Follow all traffic laws and company safety policies to ensure a clean driving record.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A with a clean MVR record.
- Pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safety protocols.
- Basic computer skills for logging and communication.
