Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A trucks to deliver cargo to designated locations on time and within regulations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and all required delivery documentation.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring proper weight distribution and safety protocols are followed.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, dock personnel, and customers regarding delivery schedules and issues.
- Adhere to all FMCSA, OSHA, and company safety policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR) with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination and drug screen.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to navigate complex routes.
- Basic mechanical knowledge for routine vehicle maintenance checks.
