Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and delivery vehicles in a safe, efficient, and legally compliant manner.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure vehicle readiness and safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring items are secure and protected from damage.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, miles traveled, and delivery records using ELD systems.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, company policies, and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch teams and customers regarding delivery schedules and any route deviations.
- Represent the company brand professionally while interacting with clients and the public.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or Class B with necessary endorsements.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience in a commercial or logistics environment.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major violations within the last 3 years.
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT Medical Card).
- Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and DOT physical.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including early mornings and weekends.
