Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A trucks and tractor-trailers in a professional and courteous manner.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring proper weight distribution and documentation.
- Maintain accurate logs and electronic logging device (ELD) records in accordance with FMCSA regulations.
- Navigate complex delivery routes efficiently while adhering to strict time schedules.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and any delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable Class A driving experience preferred.
- Current DOT medical card and a clean driving record (MVR).
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
