Job Overview
As a CDL Driver for Vegas Express Logistics, you will be responsible for transporting hazardous and non-hazardous materials across the West Coast and regional routes with precision and care. You will represent our brand as you deliver excellence to our clients in Las Vegas and beyond.
Responsibilities
- Operate commercial Class A trucks to transport freight safely and efficiently to designated destinations.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks, ensuring securement.
- Maintain accurate Electronic Logging Device (ELD) logs and all required shipping documentation.
- Adhere strictly to all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Current DOT Medical Card and valid DOT physical.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to safety.
