Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (tractor-trailers, flatbeds, or reefers) in compliance with all traffic laws and company policies.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and secure cargo accurately using proper tie-down techniques.
- Maintain accurate logs using electronic logging devices (ELD) and adhere to Hours of Service regulations.
- Deliver freight to customers on time and represent the company professionally.
- Report mechanical issues or accidents immediately to dispatch and management.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) and DOT physical card.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no more than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to safety.
