Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A) in a safe and efficient manner to deliver freight on time.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and paperwork, including delivery receipts and bills of lading.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment while securing loads for transport.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable Class A driving experience (OTR or Regional).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Current DOT medical card and physical.
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong commitment to safety and customer service.
