Responsibilities
- Operate commercial Class A vehicles to transport freight to designated customers and distribution centers.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Load and unload cargo safely, utilizing proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and all necessary paperwork.
- Provide exceptional customer service during every stop.
- Adhere to all FMCSA regulations, traffic laws, and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and management regarding route changes or delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC).
- Clean driving record (MVR) and ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
- Ability to operate both manual and automatic transmission trucks.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly during loading/unloading.
