Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to deliver cargo to designated locations in and around Atlanta, GA.
- Load and unload freight, ensuring cargo security and weight distribution compliance.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery documentation.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations, company policies, and traffic laws at all times.
- Provide exceptional customer service during pickups and deliveries.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delays or route changes.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) issued by the State of Georgia.
- Air Brake endorsement (S endorsement) is required.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable Class A driving experience.
- Current DOT Medical Card and DOT Drug Screen on file.
- Clean driving record with no more than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and motor vehicle record (MVR) review.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
