Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles over 26,000 lbs GVWR
- Plan efficient routes using advanced GPS and logistics software
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs
- Coordinate with dispatch for real-time load updates
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and safety protocols
- Deliver freight across California and neighboring states
- Maintain clean driving record and professional appearance
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of California's highway regulations and terrain
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Flexibility for overnight trips and irregular hours
