Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles on regional and local routes.
- Load and unload cargo using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections (DVIR).
- Maintain accurate DOT logbooks and hours of service (HOS) records.
- Ensure timely delivery of freight while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding route changes or delays.
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL Class A) required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable driving experience preferred.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) and DOT Physical on file.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
