Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring proper weight distribution and cargo protection.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery paperwork.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding schedules, delays, and delivery issues.
- Keep the vehicle clean, both inside and out, at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record (no more than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Must possess a current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT physical).
- US Citizenship or legal right to work in the United States.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience (recent graduates with a valid CDL are encouraged to apply).
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Basic knowledge of cargo securement procedures.
