Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and trailers in accordance with FMCSA regulations.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently while ensuring weight distribution is correct.
- Maintain accurate logs using Electronic Logging Devices (ELD).
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and customer service standards.
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks and report any issues.
- Obey all traffic laws and maintain a clean driving record.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A.
- Current DOT Medical Card.
- Minimum 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws, safety protocols, and cargo handling.
- Basic mechanical skills to troubleshoot minor vehicle issues.
