Responsibilities
- Operate commercial motor vehicle in a safe and efficient manner on a daily schedule.
- Load and unload cargo safely and securely using proper tie-down techniques.
- Maintain accurate electronic logbooks (ELD) and daily logs in compliance with DOT regulations.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Keep the tractor and trailer clean and well-maintained at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and warehouse personnel regarding schedule changes.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A License with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Current DOT medical card and ability to pass a drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety procedures.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
- Reliable personal transportation for commuting to and from work.
