Responsibilities
- Operate commercial motor vehicles in a safe, legal, and efficient manner at all times.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations.
- Load and unload cargo securely using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and delivery paperwork in compliance with company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any delays.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety protocols while driving.
- Represent the company professionally during customer interactions.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A (or Class B with Tanker/Hazmat endorsement preferred).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience (OTR or Local).
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC).
- Pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Ability to operate a variety of cargo handling equipment (lift gates, pallet jacks).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
