Responsibilities
- Operate commercial Class A trucks in a safe and professional manner, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment, ensuring proper weight distribution and securement.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery paperwork.
- Communicate clearly with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and any operational changes.
- Uphold a clean driving record and maintain a professional image at all times.
- Conduct daily vehicle cleaning and maintenance checks.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Physical).
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- At least 1 year of verifiable experience in commercial truck driving preferred.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
- Strong navigation skills and ability to plan efficient routes.
