Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles on multi-state routes
- Execute precise delivery schedules with 99% on-time performance
- Maintain meticulous vehicle inspection logs and maintenance records
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for real-time route optimization
- Handle specialized freight including hazardous materials (HAZMAT-certified)
- Implement secure cargo loading/unloading protocols
- Utilize telematics systems for performance monitoring
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- HAZMAT certification or willingness to obtain
- Pass federal DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficient in electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Strong knowledge of Northeast corridor regulations
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
