Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles (dry van, refrigerated, or flatbed) across Louisiana and Gulf Coast region
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Plan efficient routes while maintaining on-time delivery schedules
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and document maintenance needs
- Load/unload cargo with proper material handling techniques
- Maintain accurate logs and delivery documentation
- Provide exceptional customer service during client interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Strong knowledge of Louisiana traffic laws and route planning
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- No preventable accidents or serious violations in past 3 years
