Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks safely and efficiently to deliver freight to designated destinations within the Fresno area and surrounding regions.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure DOT compliance and safety standards are met.
- Load and unload cargo securely, adhering to weight limits and securing cargo properly to prevent damage.
- Maintain accurate records of delivery times, miles driven, and cargo condition.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and any potential issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A with a clean driving record (MVR check required).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable Class A driving experience.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical exam and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of interstate and intrastate traffic laws.
- Basic mechanical skills for troubleshooting minor vehicle issues.
