Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial motor vehicles (Class A) in accordance with FMCSA regulations and company policies.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the safety and security of cargo and the vehicle.
- Load and unload freight accurately and securely, ensuring cargo is protected from damage.
- Maintain accurate logs (Electronic Logging Device - ELD) and complete necessary delivery paperwork.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any delays.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety protocols to minimize risk on the road.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical examination.
- Basic knowledge of truck maintenance and vehicle systems.
- Strong time management skills and ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Must be willing to undergo a background check and drug screening.
