Responsibilities
- Operate commercial motor vehicles (CMVs) safely and legally in accordance with FMCSA regulations.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
- Load and unload freight securely, ensuring cargo is protected against damage.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and required paperwork.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, speed limits, and company safety policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and route changes.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B with appropriate endorsements.
- Clean driving record with no more than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Current DOT medical card and physical qualification.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and pass a DOT physical exam.
- Basic computer literacy for logging and paperwork.
