Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and trailers over long distances and varied terrain.
- Load and unload cargo using proper equipment (forklift, straps, etc.) to ensure safety.
- Maintain accurate daily logs (ELD) and ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to report any issues.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and traffic laws at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) or DOT physical card.
- Minimum 2 years of driving experience preferred, but Entry Level candidates will be considered with a clean driving record.
- 21 years of age or older.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Strong commitment to safety and time management.
